I have started writing a draft of a paper describing the SOG program and the first results gattered from applying the RR_CompetANTS algorithm to a set of SOG generated instances.

Coding a Switch Order Generator (SOG)

I am coding a C program that simulates a railroad yard routine based on a set of parameters related to yard activity to generate a train arrival and unloading schedule. The schedule is so used to generate the set of switch orders needed to perform the necessary moves. The set of parameters used is conviniently designed to be tunned to match any particular yard operations routine.
